Denessa Hoskins

Denessa started tattooing in 2020 when she received a formal apprenticeship and the tattooing dreams she'd had since middle school finally came to fruition. Since then, she has quickly excelled in her pursuits and has produced numerous beautiful tattoos for her amazing clients. She is a well rounded artist able to tattoo in styles such as heavy black work as well as bright water color. Denessa truly enjoys designing pieces both big and small for her clients and appreciates seeing them smile, laugh, and cry (in a good way..)
at the artwork she has produced for them. "Impacting people's lives with my art is really a dream come true!" She is also masterful in creating logo designs, character designs, and fantasy creatures. Outside of the shop, Denessa enjoys travelling, anime, video games, Dungeons and Dragons, frequent hair color changes, and all types of fantasy creatures. In early 2023 she also welcomed her first child! Denessa is a founding artist here at Mystery Ink Tattoo and contributes heavily to our inclusive and family friendly environment.

Nick was born and raised here in Spokane, WA and has produced art of all kinds from a young age. In his teen years and early 20's he became quite well known in the local music industry and that piece of him has never left. Nick is now our resident singing tattoo artist and is known to ad-lib hilarious versions of just about any song.. Nick pours everything he is into all that he does and tattooing has been a major catalyst for an amplification of that. After finishing his apprenticeship, he quickly realized that
he did not want to work in a "typical" tattoo shop. "A creative environment should be a fun one, a freeing one!" And so that was the founding vision behind Mystery Ink Tattoo! "My goal is to become the best artist and human being that I can be, while simultaneously touching and transforming as many lives as possible." Nick prefers to tattoo in traditional and etching styles and is proficient in script, color work, and line work. He truly loves what he does! And zombies... Nick loves zombies...

Dustin has always had an affinity and a love for art whether that be music, drawing, painting, and of course tattoos. After joining up with his band Exact Your Revenge as a guitarist in high school, he was fully submerged in and surrounded by art of all kinds and the tattoo obsession truly sank in and the dream began. Dustin has pursued a career in tattooing for more than a decade now and is eager to continue the journey. Specializing in black and grey semi-realism nature and animals,
Dustin has made a name for himself locally in Spokane, WA as well as across social media including a generous following on Instagram. Although he has since moved away from his old band, he does still enjoy playing his guitar both in and out of the shop. Dustin is one of the founding artists responsible for opening Mystery Ink Tattoo and creating the amazing atmosphere here and now spends most of his days off at the shop instead of being home like a normal person.....
